OPTC has a large number of junior members and we welcome children to join us under Junior or Family memberships. All our juniors, along with family and friends, are welcome at our weekly Family Friday Social for tennis and/or socialising. Many junior members represent the club in Junior Pennants competition and compete in our annual Club Championships, but membership also entitles juniors to use the courts at other times when available.
Members and non-members can participate in the comprehensive, award-winning coaching program available at the club.
The club is open for family tennis and socialising on Friday evenings from 3.45pm. We encourage family members and other adult/junior members to drop in and mingle either on or off the court.
Non-members are welcome to play FREE when accompanied by a member.
Adults and juniors of all levels can have a hit together, while non players can relax and have a drink and/or a picnic on the veranda. The barbeque is available for use; BYO food and drinks or get together with others and organise a takeaway.

Junior Pennants (Tennis West League) is a league competition played on Sunday mornings against other Perth clubs. Organised by the Tennis Factory coaches, OPTC's teams range from orange ball teams for 7-10 year-olds to yellow ball 18/under teams.
Teams of four to six players usually play on a rotation basis with three or four players rostered on for each match depending on the competition format.
The summer Pennants season runs from October to March with a break over the summer holidays, and matches start at 8.30am. Winter matches start at 9am and the season runs from May to August with a break over the July school holidays.

We hold our Junior Club Championships each year in March/April, with singles and doubles events from 8/under to 16/under, and a highly competitive Parent and Child doubles event!
